What a lovely evening we had at our pumpkin drive.. our own version of a beetle drive followed by yummy jacket potatoes. Thanks so much to those who came, great fellowship and of course huge thanks to the organisers, cooks etc..
A very big thank you Enid for being a great host and providing a lovely summer supper for us all. Super time of friendship and food!
Circuit Praise 10th July 2022
A circuit praise time of fellowship happened at Overend. After sharing a cuppa together, Kingswinford Music Group accompanied us and we had a tremendous time of worship together. Thanks to those who lead and shared.

Congratulations to the winners of our sunflower growing competition. Their sunflower is 360 cms tall! They have won a family ticket to The Black Country Living Museum, kindly donated by the museum.

Remembrance 2020
In the absence of a public gathering at Cradley cenotaph this year, due to Covid restrictions, Rev Helen Croft laid our wreath there on Remembrance Sunday, 8 November.

2.6 Challenge
Members of the Sunday School took up the challenge on 26 April 2020. They have raised enough money for Oxfam to provide 20 vulnerable families with clean water for a month. Here’s what they got up to;
Outbreak Activities
Over Holy Week members of Outbreak received a challenge every day. These included, drawing a donkey, dressing our feet to remember Mary Magdalene washing Jesus’ feet, making a J out of 30 objects to remember Judas’ part, paper chain people(to remember our friends and family), crowns with Easter jokes, crosses made out of natural items and finally eat an Easter Egg for breakfast.

Halesowen Choral Society 8th December
Thank you to Halesowen Choral Society and Rev Alison Gearey, who led our worship at Overend this evening. It was enjoyed by all and your time given was very much appreciated.
Christmas Gift Service 24th November
The giving has started early at Overend. During this mornings service Christmas presents were received for the young people at Charles House. Thank you so much to all who gave. What a wonderful way to lead into the Advent celebrations next week.

Commemoration of the Deceased on 27th October
The picture shows a few of the people who came to light a candle. They are Charis Martin, Helena Martin, Gina Busby and Arthur Brown. All were given a book mark as a memento to take home and we shared in traditional soul cakes, made by Enid Billingham, afterwards.
